If a picture paints...
“We are the sum of every battle fought,
every tear that fell like rain on stone,
every laugh that echoed through the halls
of homes we built from nothing but our own.
We carry scars that tell of where we’ve been,
and stories etched in lines upon our face —
for every wound became a work of art,
and every loss, a testament to grace.”

Written by Emma & Ryan Pollard. I was asked to sing for the recording, then was told I wasn’t needed, then was asked again. Turned up on a Saturday afternoon recorded three or four songs in about 4 hrs singing off a sheet of paper because I didn't really know the lyrics. Good fun.

So this was about 13 years ago, in Rockies British Columbia, on the Coquihalla Highway. Just a few meters of the road at the Box Canyon Truck Chain up stop. There is a beautiful swimming pool there and I used to, sometimes in the summer go swimming. I thought I'd make a bit of a fun video for my kids. At the time I didn't think it would be for my grandkids, wasn't really thinking that far ahead back then. I think it was mainly for Niall it was sort of like a Bear Grills satire. by Owen Presland - White
